Cambridge Early Music Summer Schools 2010

FRIENDS OF CAMBRIDGE EARLY MUSIC

President: Peter Holman

Whether you are an active musician or an enthusiastic listener, you might be able to support Cambridge Early Music by joining our Friends' group. Since 2002 the Friends of Cambridge Early Music have been helping to ensure the continued success of the summer schools and the associated concert series. Friends enjoy a number of benefits:

  • priority booking
  • reserved front row seating for concerts
  • season tickets
  • invitation to meals, talks and special events
  • guest lectures
  • annual launch party and invitations to meet the performers and Summer School tutors

Membership subscriptions cost from a minimum of £18 a year, but you can choose to donate more, and there are lots of practical, as well as financial, ways in which you can help us.

Friends' Annual Party

Our annual party and launch of the main summer concert season is on Thursday 29th July 2010, from 6.00 to 7.30pm, at the Cambridge University Press Bookshop. Friends of Cambridge Early Music who are up to date with their membership will receive invitations nearer the time to join Selene and the Trustees for drinks and canapés, and to enjoy the evening together. Please remember to renew your membership subscription, which is due now for the 2010 season, in order to receive your invitation. The minimum subscription is still just £18, and you can subscribe online. You can add the subscription to the cost of your tickets when you book for concerts. Thank you for continuing to support Cambridge Early Music.

Season tickets are only available to Friends of Cambridge Early Music and cost £95 (£70 students, unwaged). A season ticket gives you admission to all concerts in a part, or all, of the season, with reserved seats in the best rows.

The season ticket this year covers all August concerts only. Other concerts are not included and should be booked individually.

To renew or take out a membership subscription to the Friends, and book your season ticket(s) for the 2010 concert season, click on 'Subscribe' below, which will take you to our online box office.

You can purchase online, using our secure payment facility at PayPal (you need not have a PayPal account in order to pay online), or by post. To cover the cost of commission charged to us by PayPal, we need to add £ 1.00 per ticket for online purchases.
